About Food Fight DC
Food Fight DC is an event where thousands of volunteers from the Washington, DC area join together to pack meals to feed starving children around the world. In partnership with Feed My Starving Children, Food Fight DC has packed over 8 million meals since 2016.
2016 Food Fight
In May of 2016, Feed My Starving Children and Northstar Church Network partnered for the inaugural event, hosted at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, Virginia.
During this event, over 10,000 volunteers packed 5,044,464 meals to feed 13,820 children for a full year.
2018 Food Fight
After the success of the 2016 event, Feed My Starving Children and New Hope Church of Lorton, VA partnered to bring the packing back to the Washington, DC area again in 2018.
Hosted again at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, Virginia, 3,034,584 meals were packed to feed 8,313 children for a full year. The meals packed in the 2018 event have gone or are on their way to Haiti and El Salvador.
